Services Overview
Our holistic, science-based approach can provide a lasting alternative to surgery and drugs for clients of all ages and physical abilities.
We pick up where other training & treatment options leave you hanging.
Whether you’re a well-conditioned athlete seeking relief from nagging twinges or old injuries that keep you from performing at your peak; a physical therapy patient whose treatment program has ended, but still isn’t feeling 100%; or someone who wants to begin a new fitness routine that’s based in science rather than gimmicks—Columbus Fitness Consultants are here to take the guesswork out of fitness and rehabilitation to improve your quality of life FOR GOOD.
We’re anything but typical.
While any gym can offer a consultation and stick you with a trainer, that’s not good enough for us. At Columbus Fitness Consultants, the first step for all new clients is to undergo a 90-minute musculoskeletal and medical evaluation. We understand how any prescribed exercise will interact with the unique features of your orthopedic system, and we use that knowledge to provide one-on-one fitness and advanced rehabilitation training, customized to your body and your goals.
Experts in advanced techniques.
Our team is made up of experts with advanced degrees in the field of orthopedics and exercise science, plus hours of course work in the equations of human movement. We are expertly versed in advanced rehabilitation techniques such as Muscle Activate Techniques (MAT), Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM), Magna Wave (PEMF), Laser Therapy, Radial ShockWave Therapy, Blood Flow Restriction Training (Kaatsu) and Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS). We combine engineering, physiology, and advanced rehabilitation to take the guesswork out of getting you in the best shape of your life.
We take pain seriously.
Our holistic, science-based approach can provide a lasting alternative to surgery and drugs for clients of all ages and physical abilities. By taking into account the whole body and correcting long-standing imbalances, we can resolve issues related to chronic back and neck pain, muscle tightness, rotator cuff injuries, shoulder tendonitis, tennis elbow, hip bursitis, runner’s knee, arthritis, Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, pinched nerves, disc herniations, and poor posture.
